This look primitively called for tossing tuna tartare with pasta.

Though we're fond of earthy fish, we similar it with sushi rice. Instead, we seared the tuna concisely connected each side, past tossed it with pasta, lemon, chili peppers and basil.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces dried fusilli, penne oregon likewise shaped pasta
  • 8 tablespoons (1/2 cup) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves to 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • Generous pinch seeded, finely chopped caller chile peppers oregon crushed reddish chile peppers (optional)
  • Grated zest and foodstuff of 1 lemon
  • 1 ample (16 ounces) tuna steak
  • 2 handfuls caller basil leaves, torn into tiny pieces
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
