By Ann MaloneyThis classical tostada comes from “Gaby’s Latin American Kitchen,” a cookbook by Gaby Melian that is aimed astatine teaching kids to cook. Melian writes that tostadas were “invented arsenic a mode to usage up leftovers. Toasting oregon frying stale tortillas turns them crunchy and delicious.
