This mentation of bluish Indian tikka roasts skewers of marinated tofu, bulb and doorbell capsicum successful a blistery oven to mimic a tandoor’s quality to adhd char and smokiness. Serve with raita (made with nondairy yogurt to support this vegan) and/or chutney, connected flatbread oregon with rice, oregon crook into lettuce wraps.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cupful unsweetened plain nondairy yogurt, specified arsenic oat oregon coconut
  • 3 tablespoons herb paste
  • 6 cloves garlic, grated oregon pressed
  • 1 tablespoonful grated caller ginger
  • 2 teaspoons caller lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 spoon smoked paprika
  • 1 spoon good salt
  • 1/2 spoon crushed turmeric
  • 1/2 spoon crushed reddish chile
  • 1/2 spoon Himalayan achromatic brackish (kala namak; optional)
  • One (14- to 16-ounce) artifact extra-firm tofu, drained and chopped into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 mean reddish bulb (4 ounces), chopped into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 ample doorbell pepper, immoderate color, stemmed, seeded and chopped into 1-inch chunks
  • Generous pinch of chaat masala, for serving
  • Chopped caller cilantro oregon mint, for serving
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
