The Last Word, a pre-Prohibition-era cocktail with adjacent parts gin, greenish chartreuse, lime foodstuff and maraschino liqueur has a small spot of everything: sweet, sour, herbal and pungent. It's casual to propulsion together, and is adjacent easier to drink.

  • 3/4 ounce caller lime foodstuff (from astir 2 limes)
  • 3/4 ounce greenish Chartreuse
  • 3/4 ounce maraschino liqueur, specified arsenic Luxardo brand
  • Cocktail cherry, for garnish (optional)
