Plums and reddish bulb are a deliciously sweet-tart complement to chickenhearted thighs successful this skillet dinner. The chickenhearted is seasoned with cinnamon, coriander and ail pulverization for warmth and fragrance. Serve with crusty breadstuff oregon cooked grains to savor the jammy plum sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 spoon good salt, divided
  • 1/2 spoon crushed cinnamon
  • 1/2 spoon crushed coriander
  • 1/2 spoon ail powder
  • 1/2 spoon freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chickenhearted thighs (2 to 2 1/2 pounds total), trimmed of excess fat, if desired
  • 1 tablespoonful neutral oil, specified arsenic canola oregon vegetable
  • 1 lb reddish oregon achromatic plums, pitted and chopped into wedges
  • 1 ample reddish bulb (9 ounces), halved and sliced
  • 3/4 cupful no-salt-added oregon low-sodium chickenhearted broth oregon stock
  • 1 tablespoonful balsamic vinegar
  • Crusty breadstuff oregon cooked grains, for serving
