  • 2 tablespoons olive lipid oregon canola oil

For the beef

  • 1 tablespoonful oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoonful water
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 spoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 spoon good salt
  • 1/2 spoon freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • 1 lb sirloin steak oregon rib-eye, trimmed of excess fat, if desired, and chopped into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil, specified arsenic canola
  • 1 tablespoonful unsalted butter
  • 1/2 mean reddish bulb (4 ounces total), coarsely chopped
