Pan-frying and past glazing tempeh with a sweet-and-sour substance of miso and mustard gives it a large deed of flavor. This crockery pairs tempeh with collard greens that are rapidly cooked truthful they support much of their colour and texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb soy tempeh (such arsenic 2 8-ounce packages Lightlife brand)
  • Vegetable oregon peanut oil, for frying
  • 1 lb collard greens
  • 1 tablespoonful extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 mean yellowish onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 spoon crushed reddish capsicum flakes
  • 2 tablespoons pome cider vinegar
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly crushed achromatic pepper
  • 2 tablespoons achromatic miso
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/4 cupful water
