Smoky mezcal, aged brandy, bitters and limeade marque for a layered and delicious twist connected a accepted margarita.

Ingredients

  • Coarse salt, for garnish
  • Ice
  • 2 1/2 ounces limeade, homemade oregon store-bought (see Notes)
  • 1 1/2 ounces mezcal
  • 1/2 ounce brandy, preferably aged 10 years
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • Lime wedge oregon wheel, for garnish
