This Vietnamese attraction gives tofu a wonderfully pleasant, brushed texture and a lemon-caramel spirit from lemongrass. Eat with atom oregon noodles, oregon usage it to apical noodle bowls, worldly into summertime rolls oregon capable banh mi.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated oregon pressed
  • 1 mean shallot (1 ounce), finely chopped
  • 1 bird’s oculus chile, stemmed and finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoonful reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonful Chinkiang vinegar (Chinese achromatic vinegar)
  • 14 to 16 ounces medium-firm oregon steadfast tofu, patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oregon different neutral oil
  • 1/4 cupful unsweetened coconut water
  • 1/2 cupful lightly packed caller cilantro leaves
  • 1 tablespoonful toasted sesame seeds
