  • 1 spoon crushed cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons rootlike oil, positive much for brushing the grill grate
  • 1 tablespoonful kosher salt
  • 1 spoon coarsely crushed achromatic pepper

For the chicken

  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chickenhearted legs (thigh attached, astir 5 pounds total)
  • Juice of 3 limes (about 6 tablespoons)
  • 1 tablespoonful kosher salt
