Ingredients

For the shrimp

  • 1 tablespoonful cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 lb medium-size shrimp, peeled and deveined

For the sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoonful cornstarch
  • 1/3 cupful low-sodium chickenhearted broth
  • 2 tablespoons oyster-flavored sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 spoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 lb bladed asparagus, stem ends trimmed, sliced diagonally into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoonful rootlike oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 reddish doorbell pepper, sliced successful mean julienne
  • 2 teaspoons crushed greenish beverage leaves (may substitute decaffeinated greenish tea)
  • 1/3 cupful unsalted cashews, chopped (optional)
