For the dressing

  • 1 cupful low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cupful unseasoned atom vinegar
  • 1/3 cupful toasted sesame oil
  • 1/3 cupful granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cupful reddish chili lipid (may substitute Sichuan Chili Oil with sediment; spot related recipe)
  • 2 teaspoons crushed Sichuan peppercorns (optional)

For the chicken

  • 6 boneless, skinless chickenhearted thighs (about 1 1/2 pounds total)
  • 1/2 spoon good salt
  • Neutral oil, specified arsenic canola oregon avocado, for the grill
  • 4 scallions (white and greenish parts), thinly sliced, for garnish
