Fried shallots are crisp, salty and sweet, and a cleanable garnish for affluent smoked salmon. An alternate is to caramelize the shallots. While not arsenic crisp, they volition beryllium arsenic sweet.

Ingredients

  • Peanut lipid for frying oregon food for sauteing
  • 4 ample to 6 ample shallots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Salt and freshly crushed achromatic capsicum to taste
