French woman remembers life during Nazi occupation as France marks 80th anniversary of the end of WWII

As France prepares to people the 80th day of the Nazi surrender to Allied forces, survivors of World War II reflected connected achy memories of fear, deprivation and persecution shaped by the German concern of the country. Among those caught successful the chaos was 15 year-old Geneviève Perrier, who similar millions of others fled with her parent to flight the advancing German troops.
