The beef needs 6 to 8 hours' curing time. It should beryllium served wrong 1 time aft the curing is complete.

  • 1 prima anise, crumbled
  • 1 cupful freshly squeezed orangish juice
  • 1/2 cupful citrus-flavored vodka, specified arsenic Absolut Mandarin oregon Citron
  • 1/2 cupful olive oil
  • 1 tablespoonful low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 2-inch portion ginger root, minced (2 tablespoons)
  • 16 ample mint leaves
  • 1 lb center-cut beef tenderloin roast
