Here, summertime vegetables, caller herbs and plump shrimp are stuffed into sheer rice-paper wrappers to signifier beautiful, healthful summertime rolls. The dipping condiment provides an breathtaking punch of tangy-sweet-spicy flavor.

Ingredients

Servings: 4 (makes 8 rolls)

For the sauce

  • 1/4 cupful unseasoned atom vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoonful caller lime juice
  • 1 spoon chili sauce, specified arsenic sriracha
  • 1 spoon food sauce
  • 1 scallion (white and greenish parts), thinly sliced

For the rolls

  • 8 mean shrimp, peeled, deveined, cooked and chilled
  • 16 caller basil leaves
  • 16 caller mint leaves
  • 1/2 cupful shredded carrot
  • 1/4 cupful thinly sliced radish, chopped into half-moons, preferably watermelon radish
  • 1/4 English cucumber (unpeeled), sliced thinly into half-moons
  • 1/2 reddish doorbell pepper, seeded and chopped into matchsticks (julienne)
  • 3 reddish leafage lettuce leaves, spines removed, torn into ample pieces
  • 8 circular atom insubstantial wrappers (about 6 inches successful diameter)
