This moist and not-too-sweet carrot breadstuff boasts a beauteous colour and goes nicely with Tarragon Chicken Salad (see related recipe).

  • 16 tablespoons (226 grams/2 sticks) unsalted butter, astatine country temperature, positive much for the pan

  • 1 spoon baking soda
  • 1 spoon kosher salt
