These large driblet cookies were among the 5 winners of Eating Well magazine's yearly scholar look competition.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupful flour
  • 1/4 cupful wheat germ
  • 1/2 spoon baking soda
  • 1/2 spoon salt
  • 1/4 spoon crushed ginger
  • 1 ample egg
  • 3/4 cupful packed acheronian brownish sugar
  • 1/3 cupful canola oil
  • 1 spoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cupful oats, speedy cooking oregon old-fashioned (not instant)
  • 2 ounces achromatic chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cupful dried blueberries
  • 1/4 cupful crystallized ginger, coarsely chopped
