Beef with achromatic legume condiment is 1 of those Chinese classics that sometimes tin beryllium bland. In this version, a paste of ail and ginger adds existent extent of flavor.

Serve with atom noodles oregon steamed rice, with a garnish of chopped cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces boneless apical sirloin
  • 2 mean cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 4 sprigs cilantro, coarsely chopped (stems included), positive much for garnish
  • 2-inch portion peeled ginger root, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons rootlike oil
  • 3 tablespoons adust sherry
  • 1 spoon toasted sesame oil
  • 4 scallions (root ends trimmed), chopped crosswise into 1/4-inch pieces, achromatic and greenish parts kept separate
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons store-bought achromatic legume sauce
