A homemade herb condiment would marque this family-friendly crockery sensation similar summer, but store-bought condiment works, too. Ground beef with onion, celery and greenish doorbell capsicum is mixed with immoderate of the condiment to make meaty layers.

This freezes well, either baked oregon unbaked.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thin crushed beef
  • 1 mean onion, chopped into 1/4-inch dice
  • 2 mean cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 ribs celery, trimmed and chopped into 1/4-inch dice
  • 1/2 cupful 1/4-inch diced greenish doorbell pepper
  • 6 cups homemade oregon store-bought spaghetti sauce
  • 1 spoon chopped basil leaves
  • 1 lb to 2 pounds premix of summertime squashes, specified arsenic pattypan, yellowish and zucchini, trimmed and chopped crosswiseinto 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 cupful Italian-style dried breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cupful shredded mozzarella food (may usage low-fat)
  • 1/2 cupful parmesan cheese
