Ingredients

  • Eight 6-inch maize tortillas
  • 14 ounces to scant 1 lb Barbecued Lamb Belly (see headnote and related recipe)
  • About 1/4 cupful homemade oregon store-bought salsa verde (see related recipe), for serving
  • Flesh of 1 ripe avocado, chopped into 16 slices
  • 1/2 mean reddish onion, chopped into bladed half-moons
  • About 1/4 cupful crumbled cotija cheese, for serving
  • Leaves from 4 to 6 stems cilantro, for serving
  • 1 mean lime, sliced into 8 wedges, for serving
