(Reuters) - Amazon.com's self-driving unit, Zoox, has recalled 258 vehicles owed to issues with its automated driving strategy (ADS) that could origin unexpected hard braking, the institution said connected Wednesday.

The callback affects vehicles equipped with ADS bundle versions released earlier November 5, according to a study Zoox filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration past week.

The California-based institution said it has addressed the contented by updating the ADS bundle connected affected vehicles.
